Welcome to KCBC!
Thanks for stopping by online! Here’s a little about us:
We have two identical services on Sunday mornings at 9:00am and 10:45am at our South Campus (main campus). When you walk into our church, check out the Welcome Center in the main foyer. There you will be greeted by our volunteers, receive a free gift, and learn more about the church.
When you come to our church, come wearing whatever clothes you are comfortable with. Whether it’s a suit and tie or shorts and a Hawaiian shirt, it doesn’t matter to God so it doesn’t matter to us! We typically begin our services by adoring God in worship then continue by sharing some brief announcements, giving to the Lord with our offering, and hearing the preaching of God’s Word, so bring your Bible with you! Don’t have a Bible? Let us know and we’ll try to hook you up.
We are a church family, so come early and stay late to get to know some new faces in our church and introduce yourself to us – We’d love to meet you!
We’d Love to Get to Know You More –
First Step Lunch
The First Step Lunch is a quarterly lunch especially designed for newcomers. When we say newcomers, we generally mean, “If you feel new to our church, this is for you!” Come meet members of our leadership team and hear of opportunities to connect with others. Sign up in the foyer or email us so we know how much food to make for you!
Next Step Class
The Next Step Class is designed as an introductory class for those simply looking to learn about our church’s doctrine and beliefs, or for those looking to become a member of our church. This class is offered regularly, usually as a Building U (Sunday school) class over a four week period. It is also offered as a Saturday morning periodically throughout the year.
KCBC at a glance
Kent City Baptist Church (or “KCBC” for short) has been a part of the north Kent County landscape for over 140 years. We are a group of people thankful for our rich heritage of faith, and we are excited about new possibilities in the future!
We have a variety of ministries in our church, to highlight a few: Children’s Ministries – PreK-6th grade (Wed. Night Awana, Sunday School & VBS), Student Ministries – 7th-12th grade (Wed. Night Youth Group & Building U), Home Fellowship Groups (Adults/Families) & more! Come to one of our First Step Lunches to get to know more and find out ways to get plugged in!
